    Default Paradise Forum skin questions

Hello I am looking for a theme, yet I have a Bowling Forum site, so you can imagine the choices are small.

So I am looking at skin possibilities.

I am curious if this skin, Paradise forums has psd files where I can upload new pictures like this for an example.

The background under the folded page is like a dark brown looking map. Is this separate where I could insert my own Bowling lanes wood image?

Also the main pages are clouds and sand. Are these able to be changed as well to cater to bowling themes?

I am not sure if these ideas are possible, but I am not sure about the psd files and how they are layered.

    Thanks

Chris - Current Complete VB customer

Yes this theme does have PSD file in which you can change things. You can change it to what you want. It is not hard to do at all. They are all controlled by psd files and able to change them.

Now are they used some how where the back ground image is seperate from the actual forums? So I could put anything for the background image underneith?

Also does this break any rules?

Ok well well I think we have a sale.

I like some aspects of other skins like the latest posts mod, and this skin does not have it, but maybe its something that I can install.

Depends on type of latest post mod. There is one from vbulletin that works well or you can do some modifications. Those are not that hard .

Ok I see. And lastly (which you have been wonderful) The skin seems to have the forums smaller than I am used to towards the left. Is it possible to enlarge it right any? Maybe say 50 px and make teh sidebars smaller?

To do this woudl I edit the css in the style manager area or the vbulletins main css file?

Thanks so much. I think things are really better now than in the past.

I am having trouble understanding the last part of your question. Can you draw a picture and just put arrows on what you mean . I am sorry but sometimes a picture makes alot more sense than words.

I guess what I mean is if you look at the skin, is there a way to extend the forum container and shrink down the sidbar via css? On the home page?

You can do that but it will take some extra coding. Some of the variables are set a certain length.
