My faves are the stripped down theme's where you can remove all the posting rules, last pot by, time etc. Really minimal, almost like some of the minimal wordpress themes...

Yo propongo un tema mas "Social" como el de myspace, que son colores medios en donde los usuarios pueden estar mucho tiempo sin fatigarse la vista, ademas de que el skin es amigable y entendible y funciona casi en todo tipo de foro.

Esto lo tuve que traducir ya que no hablo ingles, asi que espero que me hayas entendido.

I propose a more "Social" topic like of myspace, that are average colors where the users can be a lot of time and there doesn't get tired the sight, in addition to which the skin is friendly and understandable and works almost in all kinds of forum.

I had to translate this since I don't speak English, so I hope that you should have understood me.

Look at the future. The future is mobile apps and location driven. I suggest something that utilizes both mobile apps and Google maps.

My entry is for a social forum. Member can upload videos (you tube) and make suggestion with quicklinks tool. Quicklinks to a sreenshot from the webpage they wan't to discuss. Social chat about internet and news or social chat about hobby's and business. Powerlinks to send out board wide with messages to member with same interests.

I would like a faster skin with fewer questions (sprite css)

I suggest a skin which would look like the "Mystic" skin , with great defined blocks like that :

For the colors, i would suggest red as a main color, for the backgrounds, headers, blocks.... but would be smart to use several red colors to make a nice style.

For the text colors, i think gold and white match with the red .

But i think the most important is the shape of the blocks which would make this template original.

I would like to see a theme where the main colors are light orange and gray. However, I think that if the category bars (blue on this default forum theme) should have some design, like multicolored curves - orange/green/red, for example. Ideally, this theme would incorporate more curves and a less boxy design, along with light shades of gray and orange.

I think a satelite theme would be class...

Every one uses it in real world

there are many sites based around it

thats my thoughts

Just some ideas ..........

- there should a skin with some funky vectors & graphics for dedicated to graphix forums
- A skin with some musical notes which would a good place for musicians ....

* Theme for Money Making Forum
* Theme that content light colors, bars in dark colors.
* ad spot in header & footer.
* background image with money sign like Dollar, Euro, Forex Bar etc.
*site logo size 100 px height * 200 px width maximum and adjust 468X60 banner at right hand side

Theme for General Talking Forum
* Light weight colors like Yellow, Orange, blue etc.
* big header and logo space
* some background image (if possible add PSD to change that image as members want)
* Good looking footer bar with some color combination.
